Sign up to take part in the charity pub quiz on Friday 22nd November. The BCCK, Seoul Foreign British School, Broughton's Club, yKBS and Gorilla Brewing are bringing back the extremely popular pub quiz (trivia) night at Broughton's Club in the British Embassy Seoul. This pub quiz is raising funds and awareness for men's health charities. Enter a team of general knowledge experts (or just enthusiasts) and compete to win prizes, everlasting glory and the chance to donate a cash prize (sponsored by PWC) to a men's health charity. Caroline and Andy from Seoul Foreign British School will be our quiz masters and Gorilla Brewing Company will provide the first drink free to each of the competitors. Prizes will include vouchers from Sauce Bar & Restaurant.

Teams can be up to 6 people and all profits will be donated to charity.

Movember:

We encourage you to participate in "Movember". Movember is the international charity that encourages men to grow a moustache during November and raise funds and awareness for men's mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Grow a moustache and come along to the quiz night on Friday 22nd November and we will be giving out prizes for the best (or worst) moustaches!

FAQs

• What is a pub quiz? A pub quiz is a competition in which you answer questions between teams of players. A quiz master will read out the general knowledge questions and the teams will write down the answers and at the end the winning team is the one with the most correct answers. The questions will come from different themes such as history & geography, art & literature, music, sport etc. Pub quizzes are a very popular tradition in the UK and in the US they are commonly referred to as trivia nights.
• What is Broughton's Club? Broughton's Club is a bar in the basement of the British Embassy. Normally you have to be a member or a guest of a member to enter, but on Friday 22 November, in order to raise funds and awareness for men's health, it will be open to people competing in the pub quiz, providing you have pre-registered.
• Do I need a team to enter the pub quiz? No, if you don't have a team, then please email events@bcck.or.kr and we can assign you to a quiz.
